We bought a live tree this year so we can plant it in our backyard before we go to Pop & Mimi's house for Christmas. The girls named the tree "Merry" and they are so excited about the whole thing. We're busy with preparations for the holiday. Cards for teachers, winter performances, a visit to American Girl Doll in DC and our annual visit to see Santa. Kessler is all about Advent this year so we have a beautiful wreath on our kitchen table and she reads to us each night from Scripture. It's really fun having two growing girls who are still little but beginning to show signs of big.
