Games and DancingIt rained the day we were supposed to go to the local Pumpkin Festival - so Auntie and Kess went out and got everything we needed to bring the festival back to the house - we had so much fun. We painted and carved pumpkins, painted faces, played games, and had a dance party. Then we baked apple pie and the girls' played American Girl Dolls together (Auntie Nan and Auntie Whit brought their American Girl dolls too)

Pop took the girls on a ride around the property - they checked their trees, went scouting for deer, and looked for purple rocks (Ellie's request). They checked the guys' deerstands for the hunt before we roasted marshmallows. Then we headed for Athens to see Auntie Nan's house and have girl time while the guys hunted. Pop and Uncle Chewi both got a doe - Daddy is still waiting on that buck ;)
