A day at the beach was part of our New Year celebration - the weather was beautiful and we had so much fun!! Kessler and Auntie Nan found some clay and decided to have a beach spa experience - their skin was silky smooth when they got done rolling around in it. You can also clearly see what it did to Kessler's top - "She pranced down the beach singing "I have a dirty dress".

I will try this again. These pictures at Hunting Island brought back memories of Kess's dedication and the day Big Pa and I took her back there. I climbed all the way to the top of the lighthouse as they watched from below, then Kess fell in a sticker patch! I heard her crying and nearly broke my neck trying to fly down those spiral stairs to get to her as Big Pa did his best to comfort her and pick out sand burrs. I hope to return there someday with the girls.
